SAMSUNG has been providing useful and advanced photography apps for a long time. For example, the company’s current Photo Editor app offers a range of different options while Raw Expert the app claims to provide a complete RAW photography experience. Furthermore, Samsung’s Gallery app also provides important editing features and options through Photo Editor app including – Spot Color, Object Eraser and Shadow Remover. However, these features are difficult to find for general users because they are located deep within the application. However, now the company has launched a more improved photo editing app based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to fix most problems in images with just one tap.
The Korean tech giant recently launched a new photography app called Galaxy Enhance-X. According to a report by AndroidSage, the app is currently available in Galaxy Store and its listing reveals that the app uses “AI-based engineering” to provide multiple editing features with a single click.
What is Samsung’s Galaxy Enhance-X?
As discussed above, Samsung’s Galaxy Enhance-X is an AI-based premium photography app that works with just one touch. The company’s latest app is an answer to other major image editing apps from other brands including – Adobe’s Lightroom, Google’s Snapseed, Picsart, and even Google Photos’ AI enhancer built in. built-in available.
Samsung Galaxy Enhance-X: Availability
According to the report, Samsung’s latest app is compatible with Android 10.0 and up. This means Galaxy Enhance-X application can run on high-end devices like Samsung Galaxy S9 series, Note 9 series, Galaxy S10 series, Note 10 series, S20 series, Note 20 series, S21 series, latest Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z series, Galaxy Tab series S8 as well as on mid-range A-series phones. It can run even on budget M-series and F-series handsets.
The report mentions that the app works best with images captured with Samsung’s Expert Raw camera app, allowing photographers to access the image’s uncompressed data directly from the camera sensor.
The new app is said to be not currently available for all regions and has been made available to select markets including the US.
Samsung Galaxy Enhance-X: Key Features
One of the most notable features of the application is the “Magic Editor” feature that can enhance images with just one click. Meanwhile, the “Brighten” feature helps users to create more light for darker images while the “Fix Blur” feature revives blurred photos. In addition to these, Samsung’s latest app can also remove moire patterns from images created when an opaque pattern with transparent gaps is placed over another similar pattern.
The report details the options that will be initially available to users including – HDR, Brighten, Blur fix and Sharpen as they import images into the app. Other features like – Fix Moire, Remove reflections, face enhancements and vertical options will be available in the “More” menu, the report suggests.
