(Exclusive) Hurricane Chris second degree murder trial to begin in February


On Wednesday, Christopher ‘Hurricane Chris’ Dooley appeared in the Shreveport courtroom with advice on the June 2020 case second degree murder. The Shade Room has exclusive information regarding his trial.

Information obtained by The Shade Room, we are told that the test date for Hurricane Chris is Monday, February 13th, we have been notified separately. According to one source, the date was originally set for November, and lawyers agreed to keep the date unchanged in court on Tuesday. Currently out on bail, the defendant is also expected to appear in court shortly before the trial on February 1 for arguments and trial.

If you recall, a local Louisiana man was shoot and kill in the early morning hours in Shreveport. The shooting is believed to have occurred around 1 a.m. at a Texaco gas station on the 2600 block of Hollywood Boulevard.

The 33-year-old rapper told authorities he shot the deceased in self-defense after struggling with his vehicle. Officers denied his claims after security footage obtained from the gas station showed the opposite.

The ‘A Bay Bay’ rapper also faces charges of illegally possessing stolen goods. The car he was driving at the time of the murder is believed to have been stolen in Texas.

his lawyer stated in 2020:

Mr Dooley’s prayers are with the family of the deceased as well as his own family at this time. He is confident that at the end of a thorough and fair investigation into this case, his name will be cleared up.

We have reached out to his camp for comment, but they have yet to respond to our request.
