Exclusive! Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 to take a 20-year time leap; Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta to exit the show
Announcing a source related to BALH 2, “The 20-year leap is coming and the track will focus on the adult Pihu. Of course, it’s a big leap but the story needs to progress. The casting process for adult Pihu and some other actors is underway. We hope to finalize the cast soon.”
Disha and Nakuul did not answer our calls.
Child artist Aarohi M Kumawat plays the character Priya (Disha Parmar) and Ram’s daughter (Nakuul Mehta), Pihu Kapoor.
Recently, Disha’s appearance on the show has had a change. While she is mostly seen in Indian attire, she will now wear formal attire. Why the transition? According to the ongoing storyline, Ram and Priya have an accident and Ram has amnesia. He no longer remembers Priya as his wife. To be with him and take good care of him, Priya applied for a PA position in his office.
Talking about the new look on the show, Disha said: “I quite like it. It’s like a breath of fresh air whenever you try to do something different as an actor. The main difference between Priya and Lovely is that Lovely will be seen wearing shoes, which Priya doesn’t but Disha loves them in her personal life.
The first season of BALH was headlined by Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor. The film is appreciated for its beautiful mature love story minus the pompous plot. The new season was conceived seven years after the first season ended.
