Ex-Ironkid makes league of men debut in Subic Bay
Wacky Baniqued, the biggest star out of the IronKids show, entered the big boys tournament on Sunday after entering the Go for Gold Sunrise Sprint at the Alveo 5150 Subic Bay triathlon.
Now 20 years old, the spearhead of Team TNST from San Pedro, Laguna, seeks to sweep both the overall title and the age group title in the short event, which includes a 750-meter open-air swimming, cycling 20 km and a 5-km run at the Subic Bay Boardwalk.
Dubbed S2, the sub-category of the Alveo 5150 center line aims to provide a venue for returnees in the ever-evolving sport and at the same time provide a quality triathlon experience in Olympic style yard setting.
