Ewan McGregor has defended Obi-Wan Kenobi’s co-star Moses Ingram after she said she had been harassed with racist direct messages since the movie premiered last week.
“There is no place for racism in this world,” the A-list actor, 51, said in a Star Wars clip posted on Twitter Tuesday. ‘I listened to a few of them this morning and it just broke my heart. “
McGregor praised Ingram, 29, as ‘a brilliant actor’, ‘a wonderful woman’ and ‘absolutely amazing in this series.’
