Ethiopia’s civil war: The women who paid the price

An armistice was declared during Ethiopia’s 16-month civil war to allow hundreds of thousands of people facing starvation to channel aid. The conflict in the northern Tigray region has seen appalling atrocities by all sides, including what human rights have called “rape as a weapon of war”. BBC correspondent Kalkidan Yibeltal spoke to some of the affected women in neighboring Amhara.
