Evan’s life is still in danger. How long will it be before we find out about his fate?
Joanna Johnson: There will definitely be a few episodes. Mariana will step into Speckulate and become his representative at the company for him. We’re really excited to explore the idea of her going back there and taking on this huge responsibility, while also feeling completely guilty about what happened and feeling responsible. She wanted to try to do whatever she could for Evan. She’s obviously going to have some enemies there and some obstacles there to deal with, so we wanted enough time for that story.
I’m pulling Evan. I hope he makes it out. Was there ever a discussion in the writers’ room about maybe killing him instantly? Was that ever on the table?
Joanna Johnson: No, that sounds very sad. It takes away our chance to tell an interesting story. If he’s just gone, he’s dead, and then she’s grieving and that seems a bit heavy. We didn’t know who would get shot at first, but obviously the most interesting dynamic would be Evan and Marianna feeling unbelievably guilty about it and how that would bring them back together or not. .
Mariana feels very guilty about what happened. She blamed herself. How does this whole situation affect her relationship with Joaquin since she was there trying to find his sister?
Joanna Johnson: I think it really complicates the triangle they did with them. I think part of her, at first, was annoying. Why did you put him out there? But then, of course, immediately taking all that on herself that if she hadn’t gone out there without telling anyone in the first place, this wouldn’t have happened. With Joaquin, they live together and see each other often. In a way, they also form a relationship for this vulnerability to what happened. No one can really understand what they’ve been through because they weren’t there. I think in some ways strengthens their relationship.
How is Joaquin’s active appearance with his sister now?
Joanna Johnson: I think they’ve been apart for a while since she left the house. Both share their childhood traumas of being in a very stuffy home and a suffocating church situation. Not saying that all situations in the church are like that, but this particular situation is, so both have a lot of work to do to heal. I think when you’re around your siblings, you talk a lot about your childhood or you think about it more than when you weren’t with them. It’s an interesting healing process. Joanna Johnson: When Maia left to spend time at home with her family and returned to Australia, we said the door was always open because we loved Maia and the character Callie was an important and iconic character in the movie. this program from The fostering ARRIVE Good trouble. She will always be a part of the show. We are happy to have her back whenever her schedule allows. She said she was free to come back and that, of course, was the perfect timing for the story. Of course, he freaks out because Isabella can be so impulsive, but he also trusts her to a certain degree because he sees the vulnerable part of her and understands why she’s the way she is. . Joanna Johnson: There are no plans to separate them. We’re excited to just tell stories about relationships and the ups and downs of a relationship, especially with someone who is just starting out in a romantic relationship but not someone new to being friends with. raft. They’ve known each other for a long time, so we’re definitely exploring that. The two of them will also have some great career opportunities this season.
