For better or worse, Ben Stokes wanted every aspect of his struggle to be included in the documentary.

In 2021, Ben took a break from the game because he was struggling with his father’s death in 2020. During this time, he even wanted to leave the game altogether. The 31-year-old’s father, Ged, died of brain cancer and Ben denied his sport for six months as he struggled to cope with the loss. His father is a former football player and coach.

As AFP reports, Ben allowed himself to film the documentary even when he was at his youngest age.
