Prior to joining Alexander McQueen, Gintzburger was Saint Laurent’s global director of retail and wholesale from 2011 to 2016, joining the Paris fashion house in 2009 as head of European retail, Capri Holdings said in a media release.
From 2007 to 2009, Gintzburger was international retail director at Lanvin, and before that he held regional retail and marketing leadership roles at Sephora. Gintzburger also spent six years at Louis Vuitton in Hong Kong.
Capri Holdings Limited, an American luxury fashion group, has appointed Emmanuel Gintzburger as chief executive officer of Versace effective September 12, 2022. Gintzburger will report to John D. Idol, president and CEO CEO of Capri Holdings. The new CEO joins Versace from Alexander McQueen, where he has served as CEO since May 2016.
