Eddie hears about Usyk targeting Wilder and predicting his fight

Eddie Hearn has weighed in on a potential clash between Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder – and believes the Americans will be an easy night for Usyk.

Talking to Social boxing After Usyk expressed his desire to fight Wilder earlier this week, Hearn said he believes the former WBC world champion is a good opponent for the Ukrainian if Tyson Fury agrees to fight Anthony Joshua. Then follow his prediction.

“It was a good fight, for sure Saudi Arabia would want the fight to be undisputed, but if Fury vs AJ the fight won’t be until summer and if AJ beats Fury it won’t be. until winter.

If Fury vs AJ is done, Oleksandr Usyk will still want to fight and Wilder will certainly be a good choice for him.

I think he won that game comfortably – but we’ll see what happens. “

Usyk calls for a match against Wilder in early 2023, with his manager Egis Klimas says Tyson Fury is ‘afraid’ to face Usyk and an undisputed match remains the boxer’s first preference.

Wilder returns to the ring after a year-long absence next month, when he faces Robert Helenius of Finland on October 15order. He’s looking to fight his way back to the top of the tournament after his defeat to Fury – losing his WBC belt in the process after five years of being crowned champion.

Despite Usyk’s call for a war with the ‘Copper Bombers’, Wilder is being invited to face Andy Ruiz next spring in an all-American showdown on Showtime. If both fighters plan to stick around and keep winning, meeting them head-to-head will be an intriguing clash of styles.
