Via Sam Volz: Eddie Hearn thinks it would be very positive if Ryan Garcia teamed up with his former coach Eddy Reynoso to try to pick up the pieces after the loss to Gervonta Davis.
Ryan fired coach Joe Goosen after that loss without explaining to the fans. Prior to a fight with Goosenf or three fights, Ryan (23-1, 19 KOs) briefly worked with Reynoso but left him after his fight with Luke Campbell in 2021.
Hearn says that if Ryan is going to reconnect with Reynoso, he needs to listen to him and follow his instructions rather than follow his own.
Ryan will get a lot of attention from the media and the boxing public if he joins Reynoso’s camp as he also coaches Canelo Alvarez which means there will always be a lot of media around around.
