Eddie Hearn on Anthony Joshua’s return date and coach situation
Eddie Hearn has spoken out about how Anthony Joshua is clearly on the hunt for another new coach and when the former champ could be next.

Although initially expected to return to the ring later this year, Hearn confirmed Joshua has not yet resumed training and will be back in action next spring.
“He just goes around meeting people; seek and learn as he always does. Get that camp to start on January 1st.
“Clearly any announcements about the coach or the coaching staff will come from him. I am in contact with him. We’re planning his date and fight, he’s out in the spring and training camp starts on January 1st.”

Joshua brought in Robert Garcia after training with Robert McCracken, the stalwart of Team GB throughout his career, only to seemingly knock the American down after just one skirmish.
Even though a slightly improved performance in the unsuccessful final rematch against Oleksandr Usyk in August, it looks like Joshua will move on to new pastures.
Speculation surfaced last month that ‘AJ’ would work under former world weight champion Roy Jones Jr, after the celebrity hall confirmed Joshua would travel to the US to train under him on try job. This was then played down.
