Danny Dyer is set to become an acting teacher after he leaves EastEnders.
The actor – who announced he will be leaving his role as Queen Vic host Mick Carter in January – signed up for an online school with EastEnders legend Charlie Brooks.
The soap star, 44, will be taking a masterclass on May 29 with company I Am Pro which costs £30 a month.

Since it was revealed on the school’s Instagram page last week that Danny has joined the board, membership is said to have skyrocketed.
The account I Am Pro posted: ‘We are extremely excited to announce that on May 29, actor and presenter @officialdannydyer will be making Masterclass available to our members.
Danny Dyer’s breakout role was as Moff in Human Traffic, with other notable roles as Billy the Limpet in Mean Machine and Tommy Johnson in The Football Factory.

‘Danny has also worked in theatre, having appeared in three plays written by his good friend, Harold Pinter.
‘In 2013, he joined the cast of the BBC television soap opera, EastEnders, as Mick Carter.
‘He won Serial Drama Performance at the National Television Awards in 2015, 2016 and 2019. Danny also presented the BBC’s hit game show, The Wall.

The teaching contract is one of Danny’s first jobs since it was announced in January that he would be retiring from the snake role after nine years on screen.
Talking about leaving the show, he Talk to Mirror: ‘I have decided not to renew my contract. That is all. It’s not because I’ve fallen out of love with anyone – I love everyone.
‘That job was amazing for me. It’s an important part of television. I am grateful for the beautiful years I spent there. I will miss everyone massively. That’s me taking the risk. ‘
However, he hinted his character could have an ending that opens the door to a possible return.
He said: ‘Let me tell you one thing – Mick’s exit is going to be a very, very powerful thing. I would love to have the door left open – and as far as I know, it is.
‘When I go out there and fail miserably, I can turn around with my tail between my legs and go, “Will you take me back?” ”
Following Danny’s announcement that he was quitting EastEnders, bookies reduced his odds to be the next Doctor Who from 66/1 to 16/1.
