Duke postpones two matches due to COVID
More Blue Devil Duke to the list of programs that will be affected by the recent Omicron outbreak. The men’s basketball team will postpone the next two games due to a COVID spike in the locker room.
As ESPN reminds us that the ACC recently revised its rescheduling policy due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, allowing matches to be easily postponed if a team does not have at least seven players and a coach. If the scheduled date cannot be determined, the game will be specified as no contest.
Duke hasn’t competed since December 22 when the Blues beat Virginia Tech 76-65 for a fourth straight win. No. 2 in last week’s AP poll, Duke has dominated so far this season with its only loss of the year coming on Nov. losing number 71-66. for Buckeyes.
The Blues’ next scheduled game will be January 4 against Georgia Tech.
