Draya and Jalen are open about their relationship
TMZ spotted Draya Michele and Jalen Green in West Hollywood, California taking a walk with their newborn daughter. As The Shade Room previously reported, the parents welcomed their baby girl on Mother’s Day (May 12).
While speaking to the agency, the couple expressed that they were completely unfazed by the constant negative comments about their 17-year age gap. For comparison, Draya is 39 years old, while the Houston Rockets basketball player is 22 years old.
When asked about public opinion about their relationship, Draya said they both try to stay away from the internet. However Jalen responded by saying, “We don’t care either.”
Draya continued, expressing confusion as to why her relationship with Jalen would worry anyone.
“I don’t know what everyone’s problem is. Two adults are in love. I don’t know why that rubs people the wrong way, it’s just weird. Love is love on the last day,” Draya said.

Chile! Jalen and Draya recently caused a stir on social media after showing off their matching tattoos. The extra ink is a clear sign that their relationship is real.
On Father’s Day, (June 16), the former ‘Basketball Wives’ actress posted a photo on Instagram of her newborn baby bump. In the photo, Draya’s hand rests on her belly, while her fingers form half a heart. Jalen’s hand also appeared in the photo, completing Draya’s heart. Draya simply captioned the film ‘Happy Father’s Day’.
