Lil Yachty weighs in on the rap beef
In what appears to be a recently released episode of Yachty’s podcast, ‘A Safe Space’, obtained by Shade roomThe rapper spoke candidly about his recent rap beef.
Yachty began his thoughts by saying that Lamar “clearly” has “more hatred” towards Drake. Furthermore, he said it was felt in “every” one of his objections.
“… Drake dropped great records. But to be fair, Drake was considered the underdog in this battle before it even started,” he said. “Because people don’t like him and don’t, and he’s been winning for a very long time.”
As the conversation continued, Yachty explained that he believes Drake “still sits atop the throne.”
“Even if a lot of people are of the opinion that Kendrick won, I don’t think people are going to stop listening to Drake,” he continued.

Before concluding the matter, Yachty explained that he told Drake that he didn’t feel like he “won or lost” the fight with Lamar.
“It’s like the rappers lost and then lost everything,” he said. “Like maybe they didn’t lose money… but it’s like they never looked alike, and I don’t think this happened with Drake.”
Overall, Yachty believes that Lamar “made very smart moves” and doesn’t think Drake himself would even disagree.
