Julien Guerrier leads two shots in the halfway stage of the Cazoo Open
France’s Julien Guerrier led two shots in the middle of the Cazoo Open with Gareth Bale’s assist at Celtic Manor.
Guerrier followed the opening round of 67 with a 3 under 68 on Friday morning in Wales, hitting 5 birdies and 2 bogeys to move into a clubhouse goal that the later starters couldn’t match.
The world number 381 held two shots ahead of American Callum Shinkwin and Johannes Veerman, both of whom faced Guerrier in the 68th second round, while the 66th round lifted Thomas Detry to the top in the third round.
