Audio streaming platform Spotify was down for thousands of users on Sunday, according to the outage tracking website Down detector.com.
Down detector, which tracks outages through multiple sources, including user reports, shows about 40,602 users affected in the United States.
Many users took to social media platform X to share updates about the service disruption.
Spotify posted an update to X stating they are aware of the issue.
In Q2 2024, the number of paid Spotify subscribers increased to 246 million.
