Do You Know Why Soybean Pans Are Soaked Before Cooking? Here is the answer

Through the video, the chef shared that you need to soak the soybeans in water to remove their pungent smell. Once, you soak them in water for about half an hour to 45 minutes, just press them and squeeze any excess liquid out of them. This will transfer that smell (strong/small taste) from the blocks into the water. He also said that if you don’t have much time, you can boil soybeans directly in water.
