Build everything in Disney’s Dream Valley of Light means collecting a variety of materials, including a variety of woods. Dark Wood is said to be the rarest of the various types in the game, spawning only in a single biome, potentially requiring several hours of playtime to unlock. Where to find Dark Wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Dark Wood spawns only in the Forgotten Lands, which is likely the last biome most players unlock due to the high Dreamlight cost required to remove the night thorns blocking the way. However, once you’ve gathered 15,000 Dreamlights to gain access, you should have no problem finding the Dark Wood.
Many woods spawn in the Forgotten Lands, so if you don’t see a lot of Dark Wood around, you may need to pick up other types and wait for new ones to spawn. If you’re still having trouble getting enough Dark Wood, try planting more trees in the Forgotten Lands to increase the amount of wood dropped there.
