Disney Dreamlight Valley Welcomes Tiana in New Free Update, Here Are the Full Patch Notes

After being announced earlier this week, Gameloft today released the latest free update for Disney Dreamlight Valleywelcome The Princess and the FrogTiana in real life.

The ‘Dapper Delights’ update adds new content for base game and expansion players, so no matter which version you play, you’ll have some new features to explore.

On the paid expansion side, the latest update concludes the ‘A Rift in Time’ storyline with the introduction of ‘Act III – Treasures of Time’. There are new Friendship Quests and items as Jafar travels to the Valley, along with a new Jafar statue in the Scramblecoin board game.

Beyond the expansion itself, there’s still plenty to look forward to. Tiana’s arrival is the headline change here, and there’s a new restaurant and stall that help bring a bit of New Orleans to the Valley. There’s also a new Star Path, new furniture, clothing and items, and some generous bug fixes.

Disney Dreamlight Valley ‘Dapper Delights’ (August 21, 2024)

NEW CONTENT (FOR ALL PLAYERS*):

– A new character! Enjoy the magic of cooking as you welcome Tiana from Disney The Princess and the Frog to the Valley, along with new Friendship Quests and unique new items.

– A new restaurant! Tiana’s Palace is open for business, giving villagers a new place to dine with friends.

– A new stall! Come to Tiana’s Meal stall for delicious meals that change daily.

– A new Star Path – also known as Dapper Delights! – makes a statement with a new Dream Style for Donald Duck featuring clothing, hairstyles, makeup, and furniture inspired by the Roaring 20s.

– A new Signature Pack in the Premium Store! Ariel’s Royal Pack offers a variety of Disney-inspired customization items Mermaidincluding Ariel’s Dream Style, a House Style inspired by Prince Eric’s village, and clothing and furniture items that exude luxury.

– Weekly spins to look forward to! Look out for new optional items in the Premium Store (along with some returning favorites), as well as new weekly DreamSnaps challenges and rewards.

– New Shipment Alert! The Scrooge McDuck store has received a new shipment for sale, including new clothes!

– A new type of furniture! Keep an eye out for future furniture that allows you to interact with them to gather random villagers for photoshoots.

– If you have previously purchased the Nefarious Tool Set or Skeletal Tool Set from the Premium Shop, you will receive a free Royal Hourglass skin, matching these sets. These Royal Hourglass styles will be included as part of these two tool sets, going forward.

*Please note: Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition does not include seasonal Star Paths or the Premium Shop.

NEW CONTENT (EXTENSION CARD HOLDERS):

– Return to Ancient’s Landing for Act III – “The Treasure of Time” – the final act of Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Crack in Time!

– Jafar travels from the Eternal Isle to the Valley, opening the door to new Friendship Quests and new unique items!

– Bring a little surprise to Scramblecoin with the new Jafar statue, changing its movements after each turn on the board.

IMPROVEMENTS (FOR ALL PLAYERS):

EDIT MODE, FURNITURE & WARDROBE:

– Added search filter to Furniture and Wardrobe menu.

– Added the ability to mark items as “Favorite” or “Hidden” in the Furniture and Wardrobe menus, add these items to new related categories, and bring favorites to the top of these menus.

– Added the ability to save custom costume settings, making it easy to switch between full costumes.

– Added “new item” tag to items in Wardrobe and Furniture menu.

– Added new sort options to the Wardrobe and Furniture menu.

– Added ability to move all furniture out of a room at once, resetting the room.

PHOTO SHOOTING MODE:

– Added 2 new full body Avatar poses to Photo Mode.

ACTIVITIES:

– Added a toggle button to the Settings menu to replace the fishing and timing controls with a “hold button” prompt.

– Added a toggle button to the cooking menu to turn off the “results” display and animations while cooking, helping to speed up the cooking process.

REMY SPECIAL DELIVERY:

– Increased the amount of basic Forged Iron rewarded upon request to 6, while increasing the maximum reward to 15.

– Reduced the amount of Wrought Iron required to craft some tables and chairs.

– Increased the amount of Forged Iron rewarded when completing Stitch’s large order.

– Reduce the number of cakes needed for the cake eating contest.

– If you’ve unlocked Remy’s Special Deliveries, keep an eye out for a message in Remy’s inbox detailing the above changes and offering you some Wrought Iron for your troubles. This message will be available until mid-September.

– Adjusted the crafting recipe “Wrought Iron -> Iron Ingot” to only appear after completing Remy’s first Special Delivery quest to reduce confusion.

PREMIUM STORE:

– Many user interface improvements have been implemented.

OTHER:

– Belle’s character model has been redesigned to better express her magical beauty!

– Cross-platform play is now supported on PlayStation consoles.

– Continue to optimize to reduce crash rates across all platforms.

– Reduced loading times on player profiles, especially in Valleys with many placed objects.

– Adjusted the schedule of animals in the Valley to have more chances to find some rare animals.

– Adjusted villagers’ schedules to allow players to visit their favorite characters at any time of day. During times when villagers were previously inaccessible, they will now be seen relaxing at home.

– Adjust the default sprint button on the gamepad to the Left Bumper button for more comfortable use of the in-game camera. We’re working on further improvements to the gamepad user experience for a future update, so stay tuned!

TOP CHANGES AND BUG FIXES:

– Quest “Village Project: Endless Treasure”: Fixed the issue of Time Bending Table missing from player’s inventory.

– Quest “What Remains”: Fixed an issue that prevented some players from picking up the Remembrance Orb.

– “Diamond in the Rough” Quest: Fixed an issue that prevented some players from picking up the Time Gem.

– Quest “My Kingdom in Exchange for a Scroll”: Fixed an issue that caused Scrooge McDuck’s chest to not appear.

– Quest “A Deal with Ursula”: Fixed an issue that prevented some players from placing the fourth crystal on its pedestal.

– “Refresh the Restaurant” Quest: Fixed an issue that prevented some players from entering Chez Remy during this quest.

– “Sundial” Quest: Fixed an issue that caused the required gears to not be recorded as found.

– “Sundial” Quest: Fixed an issue that prevented players on Apple Arcade from catching the solar core item if they did not have a controller connected.

– “Alarming Developments” Mission: Fixed an issue that prevented players on Apple Arcade from tracking the alarm clock if they did not have a controller connected.

– Quest “The Tower”: Fixed an issue where the final Sand Swirl removal was not recorded correctly.

– “Unaccounted” Mission: Fixed an issue that caused the required beach area to be inaccessible.

– “Flying Metal Nuisance” Quest: Fixed an issue where sandstone could block players from progressing in this quest.

– “Trouble in Paradise” Quest: Fixed an issue where flower pots could block the way to Daisy Duck’s house.

– Fixed a bug where a small portion of game progress could be restored after a crash.

– Fixed a visual bug that displayed incorrect Moonstone values ​​until the player restarted the game.

– Fixed an issue that sometimes caused Vanellope to appear invisible.

– Fixed an issue where doors would sometimes disappear when placed in a player’s house.

– Fixed an issue that prevented players from dashing when the energy bar was yellow.

– Fixed an issue that caused some memory orbs to be inaccessible under the sink in Remy’s house.

– Fixed an issue that caused the Magical Fishing Lure’s power-up effect to last longer than expected.

– Fixed an issue that caused popcorn buckets to sometimes disappear.

– Fixed an issue where some costumes did not resize according to the character’s Avatar.

– Fixed an issue that caused the quest “remove small night spikes” to not progress.

– Various additional bug fixes related to audio, visuals, localization, gamepad controls, and UI issues, alongside stability improvements.
