Valentino, the couture and haute couture brand founded in Italy, has begun a project to completely redesign its worldwide stores under a new concept. Three new stores have opened with a new image and inspiration: a flagship store in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, recently opened in the Al Khayyat Center, along with two other stores in Madrid and Venice opening summer 2022. All other existing stores will be progressively redesigned starting November 2022.

The aim of the plan is to engage consumers and experience the brand’s new evolution towards a more human-centered approach through its stores.

The new concept aims to establish a more intimate relationship with customers inspired by Italian hospitality, devised as a ritual guided by the store team through the spaces.

According to this concept, each store will be rethought to be the new home for the brand and an intimate place to welcome its customers, placing human connection at the heart of Valentino, honoring the secrets of the brand. iconic code of the House and its Italian heritage.

The designer brand’s prêt-à-porter collections for men and women as well as accessories by Valentino Garavani will be presented through a discreet set featuring unexpected design details.

Each store offers a unique experience, with design aesthetics reflected across different territories through distinctive elements that connect the space with the city where the store is located.

Special areas will be reserved for private appointments, to enhance the feeling of intimacy and exclusivity in a carefully curated setting.

The stores’ new interiors, which will allude to 1930s Art Déco motifs and bold 1970s aesthetics, will express themselves through contemporary language conveyed by a new vibrant color palette. and details inspired by ancient Roman buildings.

Ceramic tiles cover the façade, the floors are defined by iconic geometric motifs represented by Botticino and Sahara Noir marble, onyx and wood elements contribute to convey a sense of warmth. Pressure, elegance and discreet luxury in stores from now on.

Professional craftsmen have been hired by the House to produce custom-made objects for the spaces. Among them, Massimiliano Pipolo created handmade ceramic door handles, reminiscent of organic shapes that hover between function and abstraction. Fabio Cinti was commissioned to create geometric pieces in brass, decorative objects with the aim of combining contemporary language with ancient craftsmanship. Instead, Mobilier Alexandre Logé created delicate chandeliers made of sculpted plaster.

Elevating the comfort in each store is a selection of furniture, including Mario Bellini’s iconic Camaleonda sofa for B&B Italia with its own jewel tones and contemporary manufacturer Golran’s textured rug. .
