Director Kavanaugh Doc plays the victim card in a funny way

The The Sundance Film Festival has awakenedbut that wasn’t the biggest problem with the once-magnanimous gala.

It also loses its temper.

Variety reported earlier this week that festivals like Sundance no more showing movies that would upset the waking crowd. So if a filmmaker submits a documentary defending Conservative Justice Brett Kavanaugh, for example, it will never fit into the festival lineup.

The awakened crowd will rise, and the festival will quickly back off regardless of the quality of the film.

However, the documentary to the contrary is perfectly acceptable.

“Justice,” a so-called secret project from action director Doug Liman (“Edge of Tomorrow”), just debuted at Robert Redford’s festival. According to critics, the film is a one-sided reception of sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh during his 2018 confirmation hearings.

That battle remains one of the most disgraceful chapters in recent American history. The mainstream media has shown its true nature, ignoring the hard facts that hurt Kavanaugh’s accusers while promoting baseless conspiracy theories.

The alternative media has chopped up the story of main accuser Christine Blasey Ford, but that hasn’t stopped journalists or late-night satirists from picking up on the untrue stories.

Now, Liman claims he must works in secret fear that mysterious forces will prevent the completion of the film.

“The apparatus is set against anyone who speaks out… we knew it was going to be against us,” Liman said. “The movie will not be shown at Sundance, there will be a ban” if information about it is leaked first.

It’s funny on its face.

Who did not speak out in 2018 on this matter? Everyone has done, from ludicrous accusers to celebrities like Amy Schumer, who have been arrested to bring attention to the case.

Amy Schumer Hollywood Brett Kavanaugh protested

Claims that the FBI helped smooth Kavanaugh’s confirmation process by ignoring selected confessions are not mocking.

Recent years have made it clear that the FBI will not raise a finger to help President Donald Trump. They may provide oxygen for a phony Russian collusion hoax, but they won’t overlook the damning evidence against his favorite Supreme Court nominee.

Also, what pressure will Sundance not to screen the film? Will anyone in the Hollywood community speak out against “Justice?” Can we see activists storming the theater?

The fact that the film was shown to a packed crowd without any response is remarkable and very predictable.

One-sided “justice,” which critics say is preaching to the choir and meattack a revealing smoking gun stylelikely do not include this paragraph:

In a statement earlier this year, Ford attorney Debra Katz acknowledged partisanship at least partly motivated her clients: They wanted to put an “asterisk” next to his name. She said: “When he wields the scalpel in Roe v. Wade, we’ll know who he is, we know his personality and we know what drives him, and that’s very important; It’s important for us to know, and that’s part of what drives Christine.”

Or any of 21 Federal Reasons Not to Trust Ford’s Accounts Number 5 is a doozy:

“Ford’s father backs Kavanaugh’s endorsement”

Liman has every right to direct a movie like “Justice,” no matter how much comedic bias it may be. Michael Moore has made a pretty good living distorting the truth through his documentaries. He even received an Oscar for his troubles.

It’s a shame that no one has made a fair, accurate documentary about Kavanaugh. However, if they did, it would never have had a chance to be shown at Sundance.
