“The line between jewelry and fashion is becoming increasingly blurred,” says Dufermont. “Previously, jewelry was a slow product [industry] and fashion is inherently fast, but nowadays fast jewelry is a market staple, just like slow couture, seems to be a strong long-term trend, in line with the demand for sustainability. . Brands like Dior have managed to avoid the trap of impermanence, a phenomenon that erodes certainties and erodes brand image.”
The Vicenzaoro Forum is moderated by Raffaele Ciardulli, an advisor and consultant active in the luxury industry.
