Diesel prices fell. That’s the Economic Danger Sign.

The price of diesel at the pump has fallen to its lowest level in more than a year. That’s good news for consumers, but falling fuel prices suggest a bleak outlook for the US economy.
“Diesel fuel is ubiquitous in our economy,” said Brian Milne, product manager, editor and analyst at DTN. It is a “critical component of industrial production and… the dynamics of the supply chain.”
