Diablo 4 Xbox Series X|S performance and frame rate goals revealed

Blizzard revealed Diablo 4 Performance details targeted on Xbox Series X|S. On Xbox Series X, the game will support full 4K at 60fps, while the Xbox Series S version will run at 1080p at fps.

This news comes from Blizzard SVP and Diablo EP Rod Fergusson, who appeared on Major Nelson’s Xbox Podcast(as discovered by PureXbox).

“Một trong những điều chúng tôi thực sự cố gắng làm là tạo ra [a] seamless, shared open world,” says Fergusson. “As you move from one area to another, you have that transition seamless, and you can really feel it. That’s when there’s the power of Xbox at the back.”

Fergusson also explains that as the player moves from server to server in the open world, it will be seamless, meaning there will be no loading screen – though, there will be a loading screen when teleporting back back to town, moving into a dungeon, or when there’s a “major change of scenery.”

Although Fergusson did not discuss the PS5 version, it is thought that it will also support 4K at 60fps, just like in the beta. Previous-gen versions only supported 30fps during testing, with the PS4 running at 1080p, while the Xbox One ran at 900p.

Diablo 4 launches on June 6 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
