Diablo 4 boasts five explorable zones with over 150 dungeons

Blizzard Entertainment has released a Quarterly Updates for Diablo IV yesterday, and several developers discussed what the upcoming open world RPG will offer players. Recently appointed game director Joe Shely has stated that Diablo IV will be “an immersive world that you can wander around and enjoy getting lost in.” These words carry more weight as environmental art director Brian Fletcher and lead exterior environment artist Matt McDaid add that Sanctuary (game world/moral realm) boasts five discoverable zones. Clear with more than 150 dungeons.

There is much to do and see in Diablo IV. Dungeons that players encounter with dynamic weather, lighting effects, and props so each break-in feels unique and personalized. In terms of instruction and visual storytelling, the team focuses on two pillars, “old masters” and “back to the dark”. Art director Chris Ryder said it best:

“We approached the creation of Diablo IV’s environments through a darker and more grounded interpretation than in previous installments. The ‘old masters’ pillar gave us a lens through which to filter the work. In our book, we examine the techniques used by classical painters like Rembrandt, with their controlled use of detail, tonal range, and masterful use of the palette. about darkness” is the focal point throughout everything from dungeons to light and embodies the idea that Sanctuary is a dark and dangerous medieval gothic world.”

“A lot has been said about Diablo IV’s gritty aesthetic, but the way it looks and plays is different.
