Derek Chisora beats Parker’s preparation and performance against Joyce

Dereck Chisora isn’t taking any punches in his Joe Joyce vs Joseph Parker review this weekend – and Del Boy has no sympathy for Parker in particular.
Having been seated in the ring for the epic heavyweight competition, ‘Del Boy’ gave a candid assessment of the New Zealander’s performance against BT Sport – says it looks like he didn’t put work in his training camp.
“By Joe’s gaze [Parker], he didn’t train hard enough for this fight. He takes it very lightly, he’s not on a diet – he’s not invested in his craft.”
“I do not understand why. It’s disappointing, and it’s going to be very difficult for him to come back. He left New Zealand to come and fight here and you come and fight like that? It is disappointing.”
Parker hit the cane and left home to train full-time with Andy Lee in Morecambe, so Chisora’s words aren’t likely to come down well.
Not too many observers agree with Chisora’s views, most believe that Joyce’s relentless pressure will be able to break most of the heavyweights and Parker has shown considerable audacity to do so. last so long.
Chisora lost to Parker in 2021, the first of which was specifically a close contest that the Zimbabwean was determined to win. So perhaps there is still some grudge hidden there that could explain his somewhat harsh words towards Parker.
Obviously not in the mood to make friends that night, Del joined a fights in the ring with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, with the two exchanging heated words, sparking speculation that a trio contest could return on the cards.
