Deputy District Attorney Shares Update on Prison Release
A deputy district attorney in Los Angeles is said to have shed more light on the Ashenpossibility of release from prison.

Here’s What the Deputy District Attorney Reveals About Blueface
Based on XXL, Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Tatiana Chahoian shared an exclusive statement with the agency in a report released on Tuesday, July 16. DA Chahoian explained that although Blue is due in court on July 29, he likely won’t be freed that soon.
Noteworthy, TMZ It was previously reported that Blueface would be released from prison on July 2.
“In short — Blueface’s release date has not yet been set,” DA Chahoian reportedly told the outlet. “He has a sentencing date for the probation violation of July 29, 2024, and at that date the judge will determine how much time, if any, he will serve.”
Here’s Why Blueface Is Behind Bars

TMZ The channel later reported that Blueface had violated “one or more terms of his probation” from a September 2021 assault that originated in Los Angeles. However, the channel did not explicitly disclose what Blueface did to violate the terms of his probation.
If that wasn’t enough to put the rapper’s freedom in question, however, other legal concerns soon loomed for Blue. On February 1, Daily mail A Las Vegas judge has issued a warrant for the rapper’s arrest, which was issued because Blueface also violated his probation in connection with the 2022 shooting. The judge reportedly ordered Blueface to surrender to Las Vegas authorities after his release from Los Angeles.

At the time, the rapper’s Las Vegas attorney, Kristina Wildeveld, reportedly confirmed to the outlet that he would surrender to Las Vegas authorities after being released from Los Angeles.
The Rapper’s Family Still Hopes He Will Return
Blueface’s violation of probation related to the Las Vegas case may explain DA Chahoian’s recent statement about why he may not be released from prison on July 29. Despite this, Blueface’s family still seems hopeful that he will return.
EQUAL Shade room Blueface’s father, Johnathan Porter, reportedly took to Instagram to share a video last week. In the clip, Porter asked fans to pray for him and the mother of his youngest son, Chrisean Rock.
“… Sitting here hoping and praying that they release my son in 20 days after serving his time. So for all the Blueface fans, please pray for him,” Porter said. “Also praying that Chrisean gets released the same day as him. So that everyone can have a fresh start.”
EQUAL Shade room As previously reported, Rock was arrested on June 10 after arriving at a Los Angeles courthouse to support Blueface. At the time, it was revealed that she was being held on a felony warrant. The warrant was issued in connection with a 2022 drug possession case in Oklahoma.
The following days, Shade room The Los Angeles Police Department has learned that Rock is being held on “NO BAIL” for misdemeanor assault stemming from a case filed in the city. The Los Angeles Police Department did not share further details about the assault. However, in February, James Wright Chanel filed assault charges against the rapper in California, according to Shade room.
At the time, it was also revealed that after Rock served her sentence in an LA jail, she would be extradited to Oklahoma to stand trial for the case and the original charges there.

As of Wednesday, July 17, Rock’s booking records in Los Angeles appear to show she remains behind bars with no release date or extradition date listed. Meanwhile, Oklahoma Court Records proving that her case there had not yet been referred to a judge. Additionally, no attorney was listed in the case file.
