After Thomas died, his cousin said the family believes a seizure is the cause. The seizures started after Thomas was involved in a car crash in 2019.
Thomas, 33, was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round in 2010 from Georgia Tech. He became one of the league’s top players on his third season in the NFL.
