DeMario Jackson is being sued by two women for sexual assault. Court documents, obtained by HollywoodLife, contains allegations from each of the plaintiffs, who filed the lawsuit anonymously, about separate cases with Bachelorette star, 35. The profile details very graphic cases of alleged assaults from each woman.
The first Jane Doe, 25, claims that she met Jackson on a dating app, and that he suddenly showed up in the car on their first date. After he apologized, she agreed to see him again. She detailed an incident that happened in February 2018 when he unexpectedly came over for a night out with friends and he appeared to be drunk. She took him back to her apartment to oversleep with alcohol, but let him know that she has no plans to engage in sexual activities with him. The woman testified that she woke up in the middle of the night and Jackson forced himself on top of her and assaulted her. “Jane Doe 1 was in extreme shock and pain,” the filing reads.
The woman said she had completed a rape kit and had been tested for sexually transmitted diseases. The lawsuit also explains the impact of the alleged assault on the woman. “Due to sexual assault, Plaintiff Jane Doe 1 did not feel safe, was often anxious and had trouble sleeping. She was forced to quit her job because of her disability. The sexual assault here was by far the most traumatic experience of her life,” the filing said.
The second Jane Doe, 28, claims to have met the reality TV star on social media, and after expressing an interest in getting into the entertainment industry, Jackson asked her out in July 2020 He told her that the date should be at his home, because his appearance on Bachelorette will attract public attention. While at her place, Jackson was said to have been “relentless” in forcing her to have anal sex, and she reluctantly agreed. The woman testified that she told him to stop and push him away, but alleged that after shoving him away, he raped her again.
Following the alleged assault, the second woman has also been tested for STDs and she is being treated following the incident. “Jane Doe 2 remains traumatized and completely traumatized by the events described here,” the document states.
DeMario Jackson’s attorneys and representatives did not immediately respond HollywoodLife’s Request comments. Jackson’s lawyer Walter Mosley denied the claims in a statement Los Angeles Times. “The charges against him are completely baseless,” the statement read. “As Plaintiffs’ complaint makes clear, the police, with whom DeMario fully cooperated more than three years ago, found these women’s accusations to be of no merit and subsequently refuse to pursue the matter. In the coming days, we will release evidence that we shared with police at the time of the alleged incidents. Unfortunately, DeMario and I will have to join this fight again to clear his name. Both women have called for a jury trial and are seeking damages, punitive damages, the cost of the case, and any other relief the court may have. found suitable. If they fail to reach an agreement, the first court date is expected to be held in March 2024.
The lawsuit happened 5 years after production Bachelor in Heaven was paused after an incident between Jackson and his co-star Corinne Olympios.
