Delhi Police Give Traffic Advice Before India International Trade Fair
The Delhi Police traffic advisory further mentions that parking will not be allowed on Mathura and Bhairon Marg Roads.
The Delhi Traffic Police Department has issued traffic advice to commuters as part of the India International Trade Fair, which starts today, November 14. The tweet mentions the planned roads. Congestion such as Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg, Ring Road, Shershah Road and Purana Qila Road will occur. The fair will be limited to business visitors from 14 to 18 November and will be open to the public from 19 to 27 November.
The traffic police, on their official Twitter, also mentioned that they will not allow visitors to enter gates 5-A and 5-B. “Enter from Gates 01, 04, 10, 11 and Craft Museum Gate. For the media from Gate 4 and 10. Benefits for ITPO Officials from Gate 4 and 10. No entry. Trade Fair after 6 p.m.,” it wrote.

The traffic advisory further mentions that parking will not be allowed on Mathura and Bhairon Marg Roads. No visitor vehicles are allowed to park on Sher Shah Road, Purana Quila Road, Bhagwan Dass Road and Tilak Marg. Any vehicles found parked on these roads will be towed and then parked in the National Stadium parking lot.
Commuters are also advised to avoid Bhairon Marg, Purana Quila Road, Shershah Road-Mathura Road from W-Point to Mathura Road-Subramaniam Bharti Marg Crossing.
The consultant also guides people to use the pedestrian bridge on Mathura Road. It added that Bhairon Mandir parking will be provided on Bhairon Road, Delhi Zoo and Bhagwan Dass Road on Saturday and Sunday, adding that there will be a shuttle service from Bhairon Mandir car park to gate No. by Pragati Maidan.
People are also advised to immediately report any suspicious objects or persons to the police during the Trade Fair period.
