“We heard that some body parts were dumped here and a search for them is underway. They are taking water from the pond. This pond supplies water to pipe wells in the area,” said Mahavir Pradhan, RWA’s president of RWA said. the village.
He said they were willing to help the police but there might be another way to find the body parts, rather than emptying the pond. “Divers could have been deployed to search for body parts,” he said.
Likely to test Narco tomorrow
Meanwhile, Delhi Police has prepared a 40-item questionnaire to test Aaftab Poonawala’s drug analysis which is likely to be conducted on Monday.
The police enlisted the help of experts to prepare the questionnaire.

The drug test was necessary because, as one officer revealed, “During the interrogation, Aaftab kept changing his testimony. He answered questions confidently without any hesitation. any sign of anxiety.”
A senior official at the Forensic Science Laboratory said the drug analysis was time-consuming and a series of tests were conducted prior to drug testing.
Pre-drug tests determine the person’s medical parameters and include analyzes by psychologists.
‘Then a hatred of Walkar arose’
On Thursday, a court allowed city police to question Poonawala for another five days.
Sources close to the investigation say that Poonawala claimed he burned three photos of Walkar in the kitchen after killing her.
During questioning, the defendant said that he developed a hatred for Walkar and rummaged through the couple’s belongings after killing her.
Three large photos of Walkar are in his bedroom, including two alone from their Uttarakhand tour and a 2020 photo of the couple near Mumbai’s India Gate.
During interrogation, he said that he wanted to destroy all evidence related to Walkar in the house. Police recovered a bag of Walkar’s belongings, including her shoes and clothing, from the home.
As police are looking for evidence to charge Poonawala in court and secure his conviction, experts here say circumstantial evidence and forensic examination are key in such cases.
Noting that this is a 6-month-old murder, former Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava said the crime scene has been cleared and the police are dependent on the confession of the accused, who appears to be the a “smart” person.
“This will be a very difficult case and it will take the help of all agencies in the criminal justice system to arrest him. The police will do what they can, but the courts will also have to understand the situation and act accordingly.” he told PTI.
Police teams are moving between Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Dehradun and several areas in Himachal Pradesh as part of the murder case investigation.
