Delhi Man Seen Beating Woman, Forcing Her Into Car In Viral Video, Cops To Probe

New Delhi:
A man was seen beating a woman and forcing her to sit in a car near the Mangolpuri overpass in a video that appeared on the internet, police said.
“During initial investigation, it was found that the vehicle was registered at Gurugram’s Ratan Vihar, where a group of officers was dispatched,” a Delhi Police officer said.
The official added that an investigation is underway to gather more information about the driver and the incident.

Earlier, on March 17, one person was arrested in connection with a viral video in which several people were seen standing on top of a car, violating traffic laws, Delhi Police said.
According to police, in the viral video, several people were seen standing on the roof of a car blatantly violating the road rules on QL-24, near Pandav Nagar, to celebrate a YouTuber’s birthday.
Police said the YouTuber has been identified as Prince Dixit.
An officer said: “He (YouTuber) informed that this video was taken while he was with some friends on his way to Shakarpur for his birthday on 16th November 2022. admitted to standing on top of a car, violating traffic laws. He also urged his YouTube followers not to perform similar stunts.”
“A case has been registered in this matter,” the official said.
“Attempts are underway to arrest his friends, who also caused a commotion on the road on November 16, 2022,” the official added.
