Delhi, Gujarat cops illegally ‘seized’ Banga Bhavan footage: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee | India News

SAGARDIGHI, MURSHIDABAD: Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee accused Delhi and Gujarat police on Monday Banga Bhavanthe main residence of state seniors and guests in Delhi, on Saturday and took away CCTV footage.
“Gujarat Police, along with Delhi police, illegally took away all CCTV footage from Banga Bhavan on Saturday. Governor, Chief Justice Calcutta HC and judges stay there (while in Delhi),” she said at a rally in Sagardigii of Murshidabad before referring to a TMC spokesperson. Saket Gokhalewas arrested in Banga Bhavan a few weeks ago. “One of our party staff, a social worker, was unjustly arrested by Gujarat police from Banga Bhavan…” she said.
Banerjee also linked the Center’s “deprivation and denial” of Bengal to “selective attacks and harassment” by central authorities.
