The death toll from a migrant boat that sank off the coast of Syria this week has risen to 86.
It left Lebanon on Tuesday and news of the shipwreck began to emerge on Thursday.
Syria’s health minister earlier said at least 77 people had died, but on Saturday state TV said the number had risen to 86.
The boat was carrying Syrians, Lebanese and Palestinians.
Twenty people have been rescued and are being treated at a hospital in the coastal city of Tartus, Syrian television said on Friday.
