Deadpool 3 is said to bring back two actors from previous films, including Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic. Duration reports that Baccarin will return to play Vanessa and Kapicic will return to play Colossus in the third Deadpool movie.
This follows an earlier announcement from star Ryan Reynolds that Karan Soni (Dopinder) and Leslie Uggams (Blind Al) will return for Deadpool 3. Reynolds returns as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman will star alongside him as Wolverine.
Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) will join Deadpool 3 in new roles.
Shawn Levy, who directed Reynolds in Free Guy, is directing Deadpool 3. Series writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese will return to write the script alongside Zeb Wells.
The first two Deadpool movies were made at Fox, and Deadpool 3 was the first to be made under the Disney/Marvel label. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige joins as a producer.
Deadpool 3 launches in November 2024.
