Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet, 16, performs with her father at The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert

Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet put on a beautiful performance by Jeff Buckley’s Grace and Last Goodbye at The Taylor Hawkins Tribute concert on Saturday night.

The 16-year-old impressed the crowd at Wembley Stadium with her talent while the Foo Fighters star’s father, 53, played the drums in the background.

Violet, whose mother is Jordyn Blum, Dave’s wife, looked stylish in a black sleeveless dress with an orange floral print and wore her bleached yellow dress with chic tassels.

Travis Barker also took the place of drummer to open the show, putting on an incredible performance of The Pretender and Monkey Wrench, ending with a drum solo. The Darkness’ Rufus Tiger Taylor and Omar Hakim also hit drums.

Addressing the crowd during the show, Dave said no one could make you laugh, dance or sing like Taylor as he paid tribute to his late friend.

He added: ‘We’ve assembled to bring you a giant f**king night for a giant f**king person. So sing, laugh and dance and f**king scream and f**king make some noise so he can hear us now!

Dave also talked about the amount of money in support of the fundraiser, as he said that even if it was just Taylor’s close friends there, there would still be at least 100 musicians in attendance.

Before introducing his daughter Violet and Mark Ronson to the stage, he said: ‘When we first started talking about putting together something for Taylor, we sat down and talked even then are his best friends, that’s like 100 musicians.

‘So this collection of friends, family and musicians, all brought together by him, and we are all connected here today by him.
