Former two-league presidents Danny Garcia and Jose Benavidez Jr on Friday kicked off their scheduled £154 12-round match on Saturday at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York (Showtime).
Garcia weighed 152¾ in his junior middleweight debut. Benavidez comes in at 153¾.
Additionally, Adam Kownacki and Ali Eren Demirezen weighed 251¼ and 262¾ respectively for their 10-round heavyweight bout. And middleweight contender Gary Antuanne Russell came in at 137¾ in a 10-round match against Rances Barthelemy, who weighed 139½.
