Danielle Kang has announced her return to the LPGA Tour

Danielle Kang will return to the LPGA Tour later this month at the CP Women’s Open in Ottawa, Canada.

The 29-year-old American star has not competed since revealing at the US Women’s Open in early June that she had a tumor on her spine. She suffered from back pain for several months before receiving the diagnosis.

Kang brilliantly won the US Women’s Open and finished in 63rd place. She then returned home to Nevada for more tests.

“I know you missed us… See you at @cpwomensopen in two weeks,” Kang posted on Tuesday on her social media platforms..

The CP Women’s Open begins August 25 at the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club.

Kang has won the LPGA Tour six times, including one major, the 2017 Women’s PGA Championship. Her most recent victory was in January at LPGA’s Tournament of Champions.
