Daniel Radcliffe Doesn’t Want To Be Locked In Playing Wolverine
Not many actors have played a character for as long as Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine, but Daniel Radcliffe is not far off from more than a decade of Harry Potter movies under him. The 33-year-old wizard isn’t too eager to jump into a role the actor has taken for more than twice as long, Diversity report.
According to Radcliffe, the Werewolf rumor has been swirling around him for quite some time “as purely a press tour rumour.”
“I say something, and then sometimes I get bored answering that way, so I say something different, and that makes it flare up again,” Radcliffe said of the Werewolf rumours. . “I should never have opened my mouth.”
Radcliffe explains: “I never wanted to lock onto something that I wasn’t sure I would be able to love all the time. Hugh Jackman first sniped his claws in 2000’s X-Men, and he recently announced with Ryan Reynolds that he will appear in Deadpool 3, which Released on November 8, 2024. Radcliffe, meanwhile, played the first Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone just a year later in 2001, through all of his teenage years, ending with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 2011.
Although Radcliffe didn’t want to play Wolverine on the silver screen, Marvel’s Wonder Man may soon be seen by actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Radcliffe, meanwhile, will be next on screen in the biographical parody “Weird Al” Yankovic Strange: The Story of Al Yankovic, in which he plays a life-enhancing version of a parody musician. Weird: The Al Yankvoic Story releases on the Roku Channel on November 4, 2022.
