Despite not having won anything on the court for 25 years, the Dallas Cowboys are still the center of attention with the name “The United States of America”.eam. “They couldn’t get out of their own way, but kept going dominate NFL titles year-round. Owner Jerry Jones has a radio show in Dallas and now another Cowboys character will have a weekly national platform for Cowboys propaganda.

This fall, All-Pro / Rookie of the Year winner Micah Parsons will be participating Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe as their weekly guest every Tuesday morning on Fox Sports’ Undisputed.

Undisputed was criticized for having no guests left, so this fills that void. Another thing Skip and Shannon have been tasked with on social is Cowboys-heavy content five days a week. That’s the whole year, not just during the football season.

Honestly, I’m not sure who’s calling for this, other than Bayless. Adding Parsons every week won’t reduce it at all criticize, but in at least it will be different. Unless the Parsons make some silly silly statements like Patrick Beverly did in the NBA playoffs for ESPN, this will likely be seen as a slam dunk everywhere outside of Dallas.

Having active players on sports debate shows rarely adds anything. Most players don’t want to truthfully critique anyone they’ve got to play with or against, especially in football. That doesn’t mean guys are scared, but teammates and coaches frown on giving anyone “bulletin board” material. NFL players and coaches are probably the most mindful of this and usually refrain from saying anything that can be misconstrued during press conferences.

Maybe Undisputed is going in a similar direction to First Take, which features a different guest every day of the week. On First Take, it’s a different guest host, but Undisputed could be trying something along that same path. To just have Parsons on every Tuesday for a couple segments (maybe more) feels random.

Sure, Parsons has shown some personality on social media and even lashed out, saying he could post better numbers than Draymond Green in the NBA Finals. But it was his criticism of a basketball player he would never have faced in any professional game.

In his five rookies last season, Parsons had a backside-and-talk to FS1 analyst and server of Tell yourself, Emmanuel Acho. Former NFL quarterback Acho said Dallas shouldn’t have released Jaylen Smith because it added too much to Parsons’ plate, which the Cowboys defender offended. One Battle on Twitter then, with both men trying to prove their point against the other.

It makes you wonder who, other than Cowboys fans, Undisputed trying to get. The Cowboys have a huge fan base, but that doesn’t necessarily guarantee the Parsons are a weekly customers. Parsons is a great player and hopefully I’m wrong on this, but I don’t see this move getting more followers. Trying something new is great, but we know it’s going to be nothing more than a weekly show featuring Skip and Shannon playing soft throw with Parsons.
