Curlin’s Honor’s first pony | Happy Acres Stallions
CurlinThe glory of (Curlin–Francscat, of Stormin Fever), a 2-year-old seven-figure auction buyer who became the winner of the double and six of the classification bets, bred his first foal, a foal the baby in Be All You Can Dill is in (War front), Pleasant Acres Stallions announced Tuesday.
“We are delighted to welcome our first pony by Curlin‘s Honor, and this is a particularly interesting one, as it is the first pony of a War front mares have strong ties to Lines of Battle, War Flag and Civil Union,” said Alan Porter of Pedigree Consultants. “Curlin’s Honor had a great welcome in his first year at Pleasant Acres Stallions. Based on his background – he is Curlin’s fastest son, with five clocks at 1:08 and a change of six feather clips, and comes from Fappiano’s wonderful family of Tartan Farms, the Deep American quiet and nine other classified stallions – we think he has a great shot that makes him a stallion. In fact, we are actively buying more mares to breed him in 2022.”
Sold for $1.5 million at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic in 2017, Curlin’s Honor raked in $356,545 over its 17-race career and beat first-place winner Voodoo’s Song. ) to beat Artie Schiller S. at the Aqueduct in 2019. He entered Pleasant Active in 2021 and cost $2,500.
