cristiano ronaldo eventually opened his account for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League but failed to lead his team to victory over Al Fateh on Friday. Al-Nassr was awarded a penalty in the second minute of injury time and ronaldo made no mistake from the penalty spot to make it 2-2. It was a disappointing match for the Portuguese superstar as he missed two scoring opportunities and was tackled multiple times in the first 30 minutes. However, he kept his cool when the situation called for it and he even celebrated his first goal for the Saudi club with his signature pose in front of the Al-Nassr fans.

Christian Tello made an excellent finish to put Al Fateh ahead in a melee but Anderson Talisca equalized for Al-Nassr just before half-time.

The teams looked evenly matched for most of the match before Sofiane Bendebka pulled off a stunning volley that gave Al Fateh the lead once again. However, Ronaldo was a talisman for his side as the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Ronaldo was able to put the ball in the net early in the game but that didn’t count as he was deemed offside. In the second half, he had another golden opportunity to score but this time his shot was not strong enough and went over the bar before going over the bar.

Since arriving at Al Nassr, Ronaldo has only scored twice but both came in a friendly against Paris Saint Germain – a match his side lost 5-4.
