If there’s one thing Friend star Courteney Cox58, will do, it’s joking about eating pizza! And that’s exactly what she did on December 7, by sharing One video on how to eat a slice like a “real” New Yorker. The actress explained: “A lot of people who don’t come from New York come to the city and they can’t wait to eat New York-style pizza, and they don’t know how to eat it. Courteney added: “So the first thing you do is dot it, you get rid of all the oil. “Then the true New Yorkers like to cut the tip off and they take only one small bite at a time.”
After she took a delicious bite, the 58-year-old then added that if you came from “Sicily or wherever” you would “roll it like a ‘pizza'”. The Homecourt founder then asked a nearby resident to confirm with her. was correct. “You do it like this, don’t you?” Courteney asked, and they replied, “Yeah.” The Emmy nominee then explained that if you want “double cheese,” you have to deconstruct the slice. “Sometimes people desire double the cheese they push all the cheese into one area,” she joked.
The sarcastic video is made even more humorous as Courteney gives her torn piece of cake to a stranger. “Do you guys want this part?” she asked and they happily accepted. The brown hair beauty then joked that only a few people knew that “this is another way for them to sell it”, while she took a big bite. Finally, the star explained that if you can eat it in “three bites, that’s when you’re a real New Yorker.”
Of course, many of her 12.2 million Instagram followers have commented to share their reactions to her videos. “Joey is going crazy,” one fan wrote, referring to the character’s friend on her hit show. Another fan could not help but write about the serious look of the actress in the clip. They commented: “The problem is, Courtney is so good at direct comedy, I don’t know if this video is bullshit or real.” “I’ve always wanted to go to New York, but I never made it.” And a third fan said what we were all thinking. “As a New Yorker, it breaks my heart to see this even though I know you’re joking 1000% – also, I want pizza right now,” they wrote.
The cougar town the star’s video came out just a week after her surprised Friend fan on the set of Warner Brothers Studios on November 30, “I’m working at Warner Brothers and I thought it was a good time to surprise some people. Friend fans and photobomb their photos,” she said in Instagram videos. While fans posed for photos on the show’s iconic orange sofa, the mother-of-one emerged from behind the couch to surprise fans. “Don’t you hate a photo bomber? #friends, she captioned the post.
