Coronavirus: Can get ‘two, three or even multiple times’ – signs stated

“When someone contracts coronavirus, their immune system creates a response that helps them fight the virus if they are exposed to it again,” the BHF said.

“But it’s not clear how long this immune response lasts, and it can vary from person to person.”

The NHS says if you experience symptoms again due to coronavirus, “you may already have some immunity to the virus but it’s not clear how long it lasts”.

It says that in the UK, despite the law you are no longer required to self-isolate if you have COVID-19, “you should try to stay home and away from others to avoid spreading the virus”.

However, there are a small number of people who can still get a free COVID-19 test from the NHS.

It explains: “If you have a medical condition that means you are eligible for new COVID-19 treatments, you will be sent a COVID-19 test to use if you have symptoms. ”

Other possible criteria include if you are hospitalized for surgery or a procedure, or if you work in the NHS or social care.

The health authority adds: “If you work in nursing homes, medical care, further care and assisted living services, as well as adult day care centers , you can also get free NHS tests.
