CORONATION STREET SPOILER: Stephen Reid Caught Leo Thompkins’ belongings after killing him

Coronation Street viewers were shocked Monday night when they watched Leo Thompkins fall to his death after the feud between him and Stephen Reid ended in tragedy.

When a scuffle broke out on the factory drying rack, Leo suffered a violent blow to the head and flew over the railing, landing in a commercial trash can.

Stephen was then horrified to see Leo’s lifeless body – and a grisly cover-up would then include upcoming scenes of him burning his personal belongings.

Fleeing from Weatherfield, Stephen begins a fire in a field when he can be seen throwing Leo’s passport into the blazing flames.

Last night’s episode showed Leo finding out that Stephen was planning to defraud his mother Audrey Roberts in order to solve his financial problems.

He finally figures out Stephen’s sick plan for the hairdresser, and that his financial situation is much worse than he thought.

He came to the conclusion that Stephen is trying to value his mother’s property and get her to sell it, so he can steal the equity and return it to his ex Gabrielle, whom he stole money from before he ran away.

When she confronts him and threatens the police in the latest episode, a fight breaks out with Leo getting into a fatal accident.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Stephen and whether he is likely to become Corrie’s next big villain after the feud between the two men ended in tragedy.

Actor Todd Boyce, who plays the character suggested to Metro in a recent interview, he seems to think.

He said: ‘I think he’s capable of killing even more people. It’s like gambling, the more he participates, the further he will advance.

“An actor whose character killed someone said, ‘Once you do that, you get to enjoy it,'” Todd joked.
