above Froch talk fight‘Cobra’ admitted while watching the clash between generations, he questioned how a win over the lackluster Filipinos would help Benn at this stage.
“His next opponent, he’s talking about going up against Manny Pacquiao. It’s going to be a big fight, because that’s Manny Pacquiao, he’s a legend in the sport.”
“But the guy is 44 years old, which doesn’t prove anything if – or when – Conor Benn beats Manny Pacquiao. But you never know, Pacquiao is brilliant and still seems to be pretty healthy, even though he’s 44 years old.”
“So it was a good fight. Do I want to see it? Yes, I will watch it. That’s what brought Conor Benn back into the boxing game, and it’s a big name that should get a lot of his attention.”
