Congress’s Latest Big Blunder Reveals Its Fear Of Kejriwal

Rahul Gandhi, who is being urged once again to officially serve as the Speaker of the National Assembly, continues to serve his brand of Zen leadership, surprising his own party and the Opposition.

With only two years to go before the general election, it seems likely that the Opposition Group agrees on the central authorities’ hunt for politicians in the targeted anti-BJP coalition. Scratch that. While each major party claims to be on a witch hunt when its own leadership is raided or questioned by agencies like the Bureau of Enforcement or the CBI, they are less willing to make the same premise when it comes to other parties.

And so, with its signature tunnel vision, Parliament has said it “welcomes” the air strikes on Manish Sisodia, the Delhi government’s Deputy Minister. The way it lasted 10 hours and saw Congress sided with the BJP in claiming that an investigation into the controversial alcohol policy was made and subsequently withdrawn by the Delhi government should be investigated because corruption allegations.

Rahul Gandhi did not condemn the raids on Manish Sisodia.

The Games should be awarded an honorary Olympic gold medal for shooting himself in the foot. But in favor of the Modi government’s actions against AAP and Manish Sisodia, it undermines their own claims that the investigation against Rahul Gandhi and his mother, Sonia, was motivated by revenge against opposition leaders. After all, it is not possible that the Gandhis alone are being wronged by false corruption allegations and money laundering investigations. The Modi government can now appeal to Parliament’s support for the raids against the AAP as proof that the investigative agencies act independently and without any direction from the Center.

Congress said its support for the CBI’s attacks against AAP was based on Arvind Kejriwal’s running of a corrupt government and the fact that he did not support any other party when leaders Their religion was raided or sent to prison. This latter point may be a valid point, but other leaders have spoken out – like RJD MP Manoj Jha – against the AAP raids, even as they insist that the AAP need to show more solidarity when the opposition is targeted. Rahul Gandhi himself derided the Center’s use of central agencies as overkill and said his family and party would not be forced into submission and silence.

Manish Sisodia has received much praise for his work for Delhi government schools.

Congress-run moderators on social media gloated over the action against Manish Sisodia, who is in charge of Delhi’s Ministry of Privileges. When the BJP made the ridiculous claim that a front-page article praised Manish Sisodia’s work in Health and Education as “paid news,” Congress endorsed the proposal. Manish Sisodia’s party has claimed that it was the New York Times’ praise of their leader that triggered the BJP.

AAP, largely sided with the Modi government and the BJP pulled all the stops with the attack on Sisodia dominating the headlines and running order of news channels. The optics of the little guy trying his best and getting trampled by the big bully went widely. It’s the same little David script compared to the giant Goliath that Kejriwal uses endlessly.

Of course, both Congress and Rahul Gandhi contend with the fact that Arvind Kejriwal is steadily delivering on his promise to become the alternative to Congress for non-BJP supporters. The airstrikes came shortly after the Chief Minister of Delhi announced a plan to attack the nation. When the CBI raided Manish Sisodia’s home, every TV channel treated the story as the only news event of the day. Congress couldn’t ignore the importance of AAP getting to that spot, as it came to the city doing what it does best: seeing itself as a little guy against the power and might of a heavyweight BJP. Every AAP leader stressed that the raids stemmed from the BJP’s recognition of Arvind Kejriwal emerging as the only viable alternative to Modi.

Arvind Kejriwal is keen to expand AAP outside of Delhi and Punjab.

The fact that the New York Times focused so much on the Delhi government’s Health and Education overhaul came as Arvind Kejriwal, especially after the Punjab elections, pushed the agenda of a “model” Delhi” governance as a model for the benefit of the entire nation.

The AAP is contesting the upcoming elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, with Arvind Kejriwal giving both states his full attention. The strategy was to get the votes of Congress in the states and set as the main Opposition to the BJP.

A listless Parliament is barely waging a war in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, reminiscent of its time during the Delhi elections two years ago.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi is still being presented with dilemmas by Hamletian about whether or not to become the Speaker of the National Assembly. The final message is that he doesn’t want the job, but is completely unable to let go of the leadership it allows. Meanwhile, AAP has attracted all the attention, which will help its positioning as a respected party at the national level. And in this, the Center may have stumbled upon its raids.
