Former co-host of Truth Adrienne Bailon and gospel singer Israel Houghton welcomed a new baby boy, Ever James, the couple announced on Tuesday.
Black and white photography, skin-to-skin contact, new photo mom took to Instagram and expressed her gratitude.
She said in part:
Our baby boy is here and we love it! If you’ve been following our love story… you know that our birthing journey was full of challenges – But God is always true to His word and His promises. We have been quietly praying as we sit on this best secret for the past 9 months,” she shared.
The 38-year-old said she was “Grateful to God, our angelic representative.”
Adrienne Infertility Experience Details
Cheetah Girl has previously spoken out about her infertility issue. While on Truth In 2018, the talk show host talked about her experience trying to get pregnant.
I think as an audience we should be sensitive to the fact that people don’t get pregnant right away,” Bailon continued. “I thought to myself, I thought it was going to happen too easily for me and it didn’t happen that way.
She continued:
I had to come to peace that it would happen in God’s time and I believe in that and I have faith in all of that,” she said. “But it can be really frustrating and it can be really frustrating.
Adrienne and Israel got married in 2019 in Paris.
Ever James is the couple’s first child and the fifth child of Israel. He has 4 children from his first marriage: Jordan and Israel, Mariah and Milan.
